Leadership Track News
The NP Leadership Track is currently being combined with the Grace Church Leadership training program. By doing this we hope to streamline the entire process of training our leaders. It should also allow all enrolled to not necessarily require further training as you apply to serve in other ministries at Grace Church. We anticipate that this transition will be mostly seamless for those enrolled and all credit for classes you have completed will transfer to the new program.

Why we've developed the NP Leadership Track
Our leaders represent
New Perspective, Grace church, and ultimately Jesus Christ to
everyone they come in contact with. The Bible talks about leadership
being a “noble task”, and indicates that teachers will be held to a
higher standard. Because of these things, we take leadership very
seriously. So we created the NP leadership track of Grace Church's
School of Ministry to fully equip and train leaders to be active and
useful members of the body of Christ, who rightly divide the word of
God, and are able to know, live and give away God’s truth. See "About" for more detail
What the NP Leadership Track is
The NP Leadership Track is a series of courses under the new Grace Church School of Ministry designed to equip leaders. But because we believe that being a leader is much broader than just visible “up-front” positions like teaching or preaching, and that true biblical leadership is more a matter of the heart than of specific gifting. The NP leadership track also focus on areas like; character development, loving others, and prayer, in addition to Bible knowledge. Part of this training involves all who are enrolled being willing to open their lives up for scrutiny and being open and responsive to teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness from other NP leaders.

How it works
There are three levels to our Leadership Tracks. To gain entry to each level, completion of the previous level is required.
Level 1 is comprised of basic courses that major in core areas essential to growing in Christ. These courses are available to anyone. Level 2 is focused on further development of core issues surrounding Christian Growth as well as equipping a person for ministry. Completion of Level 1 for credit as well as acceptance into the NP Leadership Track Program is required to gain entry to Level 2. Level 3 is focused on equipping a person in areas specific to leadership.
